Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

Drew and I were inseparable. Where there was one there was the other. People might not say that was true, as we were both shift workers, however, our hearts, minds and passions were one. Drew grew up in the small city of Salt St. Marie, bombing it out of there as soon as he could to attend Fire college in 2010.. After living in Sudbury for a few years, adopting our beloved dog Koda, he joined the forest fire rescue team in Haliburton Ont, Fast furious, and full of firefighting dreams, Drew decided to enroll with the Canadian Military, pursuing a career in military fire. Cue the wedding bells. I met Drew when our friend brought him home from basic training out of guilt. We introduced by my sister and brother in law,  we fell in love. 

I had recently come up for air from a bad string of boyfriends, and dating nightmares,  I was a Registered Nurse working as many hours as possible in the emergency department, living the life in a downtown suburban city.  We joined our lives together in 2014, where we started a journey that captured some of our greatest accomplishments and hardships. I wouldn't change it for a second.
